Sun Life Asset Management Company, Inc. (SLAMCI), the biggest non-bank asset management company in the Philippines, and AB Capital Securities, Inc. (ABCSI), one of the Philippines’ leading stock brokerage firms, have inked a partnership to make investing more accessible to Filipinos through the digital platform.
Under this agreement, ABCSI will be distributing the Sun Life Prosperity Funds via its online platform.
“As more Filipinos embrace the digital lifestyle, we look forward to being in step with them in their financial journey. This partnership with ABCSI will enable us to do just that,” SLAMCI President Valerie N. Pama said. “We’re delighted to find a partner in ABCSI whose mission is very much aligned with ours, and that is to help more Filipinos learn about investing so they could enjoy its benefits.”
ABCSI President and COO Victor Vital echoed this sentiment, saying that their company is likewise eager to promote financial literacy among Filipinos. “There is a need to properly equip Filipinos, especially the young professionals, with the right knowledge and tools to make better investment decisions with their hard-earned money so they can make their money work harder for them. Having SLAMCI’s mutual funds in our platform offers not only convenience to our clients but also the opportunity to secure a bright financial future for themselves and their loved ones,” he said.
ABSCI joins the growing list of SLAMCI’s online distributors, which includes FirstMetro Securities, COL Financial, and Unicapital Securities.
