Sun Life Asset Management Bag 12 PIFA Awards

Sun Life Asset Management Company, Inc. (SLAMCI) was among the most awarded fund managers in the recent Philippine Investment Fund Association (PIFA) Annual Awards, where it bagged a total of 12 awards for the excellent performance of its Sun Life Prosperity Funds. 

SLAMCI garnered the most number of awards in the Balanced Fund category with a total of five honors for the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Advantage Fund, Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Wellspring Fund, Inc. and Sun Life Prosperity Balanced Fund.

The company also topped the Money Market fund category with a total of four awards for the Sun Life Prosperity Money Market Fund.

Meanwhile, SLAMCI’S foreign currency-denominated funds also dominated, including the Sun Life Prosperity World Voyager Fund, Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Advantage Fund, and Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Wellspring Fund also reaped honors.

SLAMCI’s complete list of PIFA awards are as follows: Sun Life Prosperity Money Market Fund ranked first in the 1-, 3-, 5,- and 10-year return of Money Market Fund Category; Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Advantage Fund ranked 1^st in 3-year return, 2^nd in the 5-year return, and 3^rd in the 1-year return of Balanced Fund-Foreign Currency Denominated Category; Sun Life Prosperity Philippine Stock Index Fund ranked 2^nd in both the 1- and 3-year return of the Index Fund Category; Sun Life Prosperity Balanced Fund placed 3^rd in the Balanced Fund-Peso Denominated Category; and Sun Life Prosperity World Voyager Fund ranked 1^st in the Equity Fund-Foreign Currency Denominated.
