Homemade Granola

Eating granola can lower cholesterol, help prevent heart disease and cancer, and add healthy unsaturated fats, fiber and protein to your diet. We recommend granola as a healthy breakfast option, but in limited quantities and not too frequently as granola can also high in calories and sugar.
Ingredients:
2 cups raw, old fashion oats
¼ cup almonds
¼ cup cashew
¼ cup peanuts
¼ cup raisins
¼ cup raw sunflower seeds
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons coconut oil
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
Procedure:
- Preheat the oven to 150 C.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Place the mixture on a baking sheet. Spread thinly.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until toasted.
- Cool and store in an airtight container such as a mason jar. It will keep for 2 weeks.
