Sun Life and the Asian Institute of Management Launches Financial Planning Course
Sun Life Financial Philippines (SLFP) recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). Considering that Sun Life agents are the company's prized assets, continuous training plays a vital role in our efforts to make our agents the best in the industry. Knowing the need to constantly operate under a greatly changed environment, President and CEO Riza Mantaring emphasized that "competition has grown in terms of the available products in the market, and the quality of other companies' sales teams. Thus, there is always a need to enhance existing models we have been using in the industry."

A course tailor-made by AIM to truly differentiate Sun Life agents from the rest and in order to achieve Sun Life’s ultimate goal of helping our fellow Filipinos achieve real financial independence.
The Financial Planning Course will run for seven (7) months. It has three (3) modules essentially covering financial planning and wealth management with varying levels of sophistication, and has two (2) main components: (a) Training and, (b) Certification. At the end of each module, AIM shall administer a certification examination. Participants who complete and pass all three (3) exams shall be accorded the title "Sun Life – AIM Financial Planner."
