SunLink Online Sign-up Goes Paperless
True to its promise of delivering innovative services that evolve with clients' needs, Sun Life Financial has raised anew industry standards in providing customer service with the rollout of its SunLink Online paperless registration.
SunLink Online empowers policyholders to manage their insurance policies via the Internet. Through this facility, registered clients could enjoy the benefits of real-time access to policy values and billing information, online payment, online claim notification, and on-demand download of policy forms.
Senior Vice President for Individual Operations Riza Mantaring said a number of policyholders have already tried this service and instantly liked it. "And why not, it is not only time-saving but also fits their busy and always-on-the-move lifestyle."
The implementation of the paperless registration will make it far more convenient and user-friendly for policyholders who are yet to use the facility.
“It was our original intention to make the sign-up process completely online but it took a while because we wanted to make sure that we would not be breaking any regulation and security precaution,” Karen Casas, Client Services Officer said.
Sun Life Financial used to require policyholders to submit photocopies of IDs and an originally signed copy of the Terms and Conditions form before granting online access to its clients.
All that will now be a thing of the past. Barely one year after its launch, registration to SunLink Online has turned paperless. A client who signs up merely needs to type in certain required information and signify agreement to the Terms and Conditions. As soon as the submitted information gets validated, a system-generated password is mailed to the client's address on record.
These enhancements in the SunLink Online registration facility complemented by a team of highly-skilled customer service representatives intensify the Company's resolve to continuously invest in new ways to provide excellent service to its clients. After all, "the client's comfort and convenience are always on top of our priority list," Karen concluded.
