This rider may only be availed if attached to a Group Yearly Renewable Term Policy.

Sun Life Philippines will pay a Living Benefit to the Employee at the Employee's request if Sun Life Philippines receives satisfactory certification of the Employee's terminal illness.

Living Benefit Amount
The Living Benefit is an amount up to 50% of the applicable amount of life insurance in force as of the date Sun Life Philippines receives a written request to provide a Living Benefit but not exceeding Ps.500,000.

The Living Benefit Amount will be paid as a single lump sum. The Living Benefit may be availed only once during the lifetime of the Employee.

In no event, however, will Sun Life Philippines pay more than Ps1,000,000 as Living Benefit of the Employees' insurance with Sun Life Philippines and Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. If the sum of Living Benefit Amounts under all individual policies of the Employee equals the maximum total Living Benefit Amount available, the Living Benefit under the Policy will not apply.
